Pharmacist – $55-59/hr
Shift Requirements

Position 1: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Position 2: Monday – Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Required Certification / License

Active Arizona Pharmacist License

Must be in good standing with the Arizona Board of Pharmacy

Key Responsibilities
-
Accept and dispense prescription medications
-
Monitor patient medication compliance and identify over-usage patterns

Ensure the supply of medicines complies with legal and regulatory requirements

Confirm prescribed medications are appropriate for patients
-
Accurately maintain confidential patient records and pharmacy files
-
Counsel patients on medication use, dosage, side effects, interactions, and proper storage
-
Provide consultation on both prescription and non-prescription medications
-
Support patients with wellness services (e.g., smoking cessation, blood pressure checks, cholesterol management)
-
Educate patients on medical device usage (e.g., blood pressure monitors, glucose meters)
-
Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures
-
Supervise pharmacy staff (technicians, clerks, interns)

Maintain appropriate pharmaceutical and medical supply inventory

Identify and resolve drug-related problems in collaboration with physicians and healthcare providers

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and pharmacy interns
Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
-
Licensed by the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy
