Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Overview:
We’re looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This role focuses on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students. The SLP will collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure students receive the interventions and strategies they need to thrive academically and socially.
Compensation & Schedule:

Pay: Starting at $48/hr

Schedule: Follows school calendar (specific details vary by district)
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Valid Georgia state license/certification as an SLP (required)
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred, CFY accepted)
-
Experience working with school-aged children (preferred)
Key Skills:
-
Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders
-
Familiarity with IEP process, IDEA, and Section 504 regulations
-
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
-
Ability to manage a caseload, conduct therapy sessions, and track student progress

Compassion, patience, and a commitment to student growth
Responsibilities:

Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs.

Therapy & Intervention: Provide evidence-based therapy in individual and group settings to address speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication goals.

IEP Development & Implementation: Participate in IEP meetings, set measurable goals, and deliver services aligned with each student’s plan.

Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate communication strategies into the classroom and home.

Progress Monitoring: Collect data, evaluate progress, and adjust treatment plans to support student success.

Family Engagement: Educate and support families in strategies to reinforce communication skills outside of school.

Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to federal, state, and district requirements.

Professional Growth: Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices.
