Job Title: School-Based ParaprofessionalJob Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities
• Provide direct instructional and behavioral support to students in individual and small-group settings
• Assist the classroom teacher with implementing lesson plans and accommodations
• Support students with academic tasks, transitions, and daily routines
• Reinforce positive behavior and follow established behavior intervention plans
• Help collect data on student progress and classroom performance as directed
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
• Assist with classroom organization, materials preparation, and supervision duties
• Follow all district, state, and federal guidelines related to student support services
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required (associate’s degree or higher preferred)
• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting preferred
• Ability to support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructional direction
• Reliable, patient, and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Must meet district and state paraprofessional requirements (if applicable)
