School Psychologist
Overview:
We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled School Psychologist to join our team. This role focuses on supporting the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development of students through assessments, interventions, and collaboration with staff and families. The School Psychologist will play a key role in promoting safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environments where every student can succeed.
Compensation & Schedule:

Pay: Starting at $50/hr

Schedule: Follows school calendar (specific details vary by district)
Qualifications:
-
Specialist-level degree (Ed.S.), Master’s, or Doctorate in School Psychology
-
Valid Georgia certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (required)

Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and providing school-based mental health support (preferred)
Key Skills:
-
Strong knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, MTSS/RTI frameworks, and evidence-based interventions
-
Proficiency in administering, scoring, and interpreting a variety of assessments
-
Excellent communication and consultation skills with students, families, and staff
-
Ability to balance multiple priorities and manage caseloads effectively

Empathy, cultural competence, and commitment to student well-being
Responsibilities:
-
Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students’ cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral strengths and needs.

IEP Support: Contribute to the development and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs by providing evaluation results and recommendations.

Consultation: Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to design interventions and strategies that support student success.

Counseling & Interventions: Provide short-term counseling, skill-building, and crisis intervention to students as needed.

Behavioral Support: Develop and recommend evidence-based behavior management strategies.

Data & Progress Monitoring: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to guide decision-making at the student, classroom, and school-wide levels.

Family Engagement: Maintain open, supportive communication with families regarding student needs, progress, and resources.

Professional Growth: Stay current with best practices through ongoing professional development.

Compliance: Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and district regulations regarding assessments, timelines, and special education services.
Work Environment:

School-based setting, supporting both general and special education students

Frequent collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, administrators, and families

Involves a combination of assessment, consultation, direct student support, and crisis response
