CT Technologist – Full-Time (Mobile Lung Cancer Screening Program)Location: Lenexa, Kansas (Travel to 5 VA Sites)

Position Overview
Join a meaningful mission supporting our nation’s Veterans through a mobile CT Lung Cancer Screening Program based in Lenexa, KS. We’re seeking a skilled CT Technologist who values patient care, professional independence, and consistent weekday hours.
This full-time role offers the opportunity to travel to five VA sites in the region, performing low-dose CT screenings in a modern mobile environment. You’ll be partnered with a Technical Assistant (TA) responsible for driving, cleaning, and stocking the unit—allowing you to focus entirely on imaging and patient care.
A company vehicle will be provided for travel between sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform low-dose CT lung cancer screening exams in a mobile environment following VA protocols.
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic images and maintain patient comfort and safety.
- Work collaboratively with your Technical Assistant for smooth mobile unit operations (setup, sanitation, supply management).
- Communicate effectively with referring physicians and VA staff regarding imaging needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA and VA standards.
- Oversee basic equipment quality checks and coordinate service needs as necessary.
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- No weekends, nights, or holidays
- Daily regional travel between 5 VA locations (vehicle provided)
- ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
- Kansas Radiologic Technologist license (or eligibility)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently in a mobile or multi-site environment
- Stable weekday schedule — work-life balance with no nights or weekends
